Cove Light:
Cove is a lighting project that explores the interplay of form and functionality through the creation of a flat-packed slotted pendant light. The design utilizes 2D wooden sheet material to
explore the relationship between assembly, play and form to bring warmth into any space.
Role & Process: Conceptualize and develop a 3D form using 2D sheet materials. Utilize Rhino to create and loft the design, develop laser cutting patterns in Adobe Illustrator, and complete precision cuts in the Digital Fabrication Lab. Conduct iterative testing, refine the form based on results, and finalize the pendant light for production.
